Data export / machine control.
 
Our programs have not only interfaces to the most frequent standard formats, such as EPS, HPGL, DXF or DIN/ISO, but also offer the important introduced engraving systems, such as LANG, Kuhlmann, Baublys, Einzinger, isel, vhf, almost all CNC - milling centres etc. With this, you can take over without problem data from AutoCAD, CorelDraw, ADOBE Illustrator and the majority of CAD/CAM systems and process these using your machines. You will find the general milling data export under File . direct mill and via the aid direct mill auto. Here the milling paths are linked and exported in the layers with tools. If only graphics (or simple cutter centre tracks) are to be exported, for example for EPS, DXF etc. export can take place without tool data. For this select File . Export Graphic. The programs in addition have the comfortable direct output millCONTROL to various machines/control systems (LANG MCG, vhf CNC750, Mimaki, Roland).

The programs using CAD have available a direct data export to the output program. Using direct mill auto you economise on the export of the data and the call-up of the out put program. Following the setting -up of the data export the milling program takes over all operations. After only one click you can directly go on working.

DIN/ISO (G-Code)  Export.

 
G - Code / DIN or ISO is a "standardised" language for milling machines (DIN66025). The format is for considerably better resolutions than, for example, HPGL and is configured for several milling axes. Disadvantage is the inadequate standardisation, i.e. the DIN standard allows dialects. This is also the reason that, in AHSoft  programs any number of DIN/ISO export filters are available. Almost every machine requires its own filter. Should a DIN/ISO filter not be available for your machine, we would be happy to create a suitable export filter.

Gravograph

Depending on the machine type, control or data transfer is possible:

  • VXnn : unfortunately here one is concerned with a closed system. Creation of data is not possible. A data transfer using a disk is not possible!

  • IS600/700/800 (Step motor): HPGL-2D interface.

  • IS200/400/700 (Step motor): HPGL-2D/3D interface.

  • IS6000(xp)/8000(xp) (Servomotor): HPGL-2D/3D interface.

Milling-/engraving data can be exported via HPGL 2D/3D only for 1 tool. An automatic tool change is not possible with this export.
 

For 2.5D (HPGL-2D interface) the export direct mill . HPGL 2D/3D . Gravograph2D

isel / i-mes


isel Premium machines:

For isel Premium machines the program (from Ver.5.704, 6.104) creates milling data in DIN/ISO format. These data can also be issued on 4th axis (for cylinder gravure input circular engraving diameter <> 0).

isel Standard machines:

Our programs create isel intermediate format (ncp). Using this format you can operate all isel machines.

 

You achieve output using

Direct machine operating using millCONTROL (iSIGN+, HCAM, iMill) is possible. Direct output is recommended for, for example, labels, front plates and for special fabrications. For this, select

For general operation in stamp and relief production we recommend the employment of LANG LDrivers.

LGF-2 (up to ca. 1989):

Data export is only possible in fonts. Milling paths are sorted according to tools and exported in several fonts..

When employing a special control system or in case of doubt we request a consultation with the machine supplier.

For the M1, M2, M32 control systems the ISO option is required. For compatibility pleas check with the machine manufacturer.

For control systems onwards from M-Fusion operation is without problem.

The export is suitable for Integrex 4 (4 digit tool number), Integrex 6 (6 digit tool number) and Revolver machines (4 digit tool number). These control systems were employed up to ca. 2006(2007).

WinPC-NC

You can optionally output HP-GL (for 2D processings) or DIN/ISO (for 3D processings). This applies for PC-NC DOS and WinPC-NC. Due to better quality and for professional applications we recommend DIN/ISO.

For normal export select

Roland

Roland

The programs have interfaces to all Roland engraving/milling machines. For data export via a printer driver a Roland printer driver matching the machine has to be installed. Data export via RS232 is possible without special driver. For adjustment please take note of the information in program help.

 

Printer (mill): 2D data export via Roland printer driver.
Roland printer: 3D data export via Roland printer driver.
HPGL 2D/3D . Roland 2D: Direct 2D data export via RS232.
HPGL 2D/3D . Roland 3D: Direct 3D data export via RS232.

 

Teetz

Export using Teetz 3D, due to permanently changing interfaces, is not possible for all machines.

 

In most cases the export

VENTURE

For the export for 3 axes processing using DIN/ISO select

vhf

The older control system CNC450 cannot be used.

The control system CNC750 can be used directly using mill CONTROL (eSIGN2D, iSIGN+.., iMill, HCAM..). For this, select the export 

direct mill . mill CONTROL . vhf.

For the control system CNC950 (and 550, 580, 980) data can be saved in HPGL-similar format. For this, select 

direct mill . HP-GL 2D/3D . vhf CNC950.

To operate the machine under Windows the output CNCTerm can be obtained from vhf. 

 

Wissner

Machine operation takes place using Wissner software. Data can be taken over via optional import filters which, in part, are very expensive. Data adoption are available, for example, via HP-GL and DIN/ISO.
